I've recently associated with Century Twenty-One Sierra Properties here in Angels Camp after some twenty years in the Arnold Market.  I plan to keep up with the happenings in the Arnold area while learning the lay of the land here in Angels Camp, so I will be able to assist clients through out the whole Highway 4 corridor, including Murphys and Copperopolis.

I acquired my real estate license in 1985 primarily for use in the commercial field as I was at that time a sales representative for the Northern California Distributor for Maytag Commercial Laundry Equipment.  I represented the firm in Santa Clara, San Benito, Santa Cruz, and Monterey counties in Central California.  In that capacity I worked primarily with owner/operators of coin operated laundries, more commonly known as Laundromats,  In addition to marketing equipment, I negotiated space leases, designed stores, and arranged for the construction of new stores.  I also consulted with other businesses that used commercial laundry equipment: hotel/motel facilities, gyms, schools, beauty parlors, medical facilities, nursing homes, veterinarians, etc.  Frequently owner/operators of laundromats would want either to sell a store or acquire another one and that's where my California Bureau of Real Estate License came into play.

Prior to 1985 I was a Laundromat owner/operator in the Salinas, California area having a four store chain.  Subsequently I owned as many a nine laundromats in the Gold Country, although not all nine at one time.

Going back before the mid 70's I was primarily in the construction business which gives me a good understanding of how homes are built and what to look for when assisting buyers and/or sellers with their real estate needs.

I was on active duty for three years in the United States Army in the late 1950's.  I attended Hartnell College in Salinas and acquired an Associates of Arts Degree in Business Administration in 1972.
